    How scan-to-BIM works, from field to Revit

    Scan-to-BIM is a two-stage process: capture, then modeling. Field capture produces the registered point cloud; our modelers then build a native Revit model directly against that cloud — walls, structure, and MEP as real Revit families with accurate geometry, at the Level of Development your scope specifies. At LOD 300, model faces hold ±10mm to the registered cloud, and the accuracy report documents it.

    Timeline-wise, a typical 100,000 square foot building runs 10–15 business days to LOD 200 and 3–5 weeks to LOD 300 after capture. Because capture is a single site visit, the building's occupants barely notice the project that ends with their facility fully modeled.
